Our apprentices participate in apprenticeship competitions every year to compete with apprentices from other companies in their profession. They repeatedly achieve top positions, which is a visible testament to the excellent quality of our training.

A healthy mind resides only in a healthy body. Therefore, twice a year, our trainers take our apprentices on an excursion or a hike in the mountains. Bike tours are also organized, as well as ski trips in the winter. Participation is, of course, voluntary.

At the beginning of the training year, we take our new apprentices on an excursion to the locations of our partner companies. It is important to us that the apprentices also get to know the companies and products of our training partners. With the apprentices in their fourth year of training, we visit trade fairs in Linz or Salzburg.

A special highlight is our Open House Day at the apprentices training center. Once a year, usually in November, the apprentices training center opens its doors and proudly presents its top-equipped training areas and introduces the 17 apprenticeships that are offered within the training network.

We are particularly proud to support initiatives like "Girls' Day" and thus make technical apprenticeships more accessible to girls and young women. Currently, we have a female participation rate of 20%. We also see that the girls are in no way inferior to the boys: On the contrary, they often show the boys how it's done.

An important tool for career orientation is career information fairs. The Magna apprentices training center is not only present at the main fair in the fall, such as the SBim or BeSt in the Stadthalle, but we are also represented at almost all regional fairs. We would be delighted to welcome you to our Magna booth at one of these fairs.

The excellent training provided at Magna is demonstrated by the outstanding successes of our apprentices in their final apprenticeship exams. Over 70% of the apprentices complete their training with excellent or good results. This achievement is honored at the annual Stars of Styria awards ceremony at the Styrian Chamber of Commerce in Graz.

Every year on September 1st, the time has come: A new training year begins, and between 40 and 60 apprentices take their first step towards a promising career – with an apprenticeship at Magna!

The successes of our apprentices in their final apprenticeship exams must be duly celebrated. And where better to do that than with an off-road driving experience on our local mountain, the Schöckl.
