Striving for best-in-class electrified platforms for an emission free future
Electrification is in full swing. Range and efficiency are still the most important criteria for the OEM and driver. We at Magna accept this challenge and we are constantly working to further develop our eDrives for battery electric vehicles (BEV).
- A high voltage portfolio covering the entire range for pure electric vehicles, from single components to complete systems.
- Focusing on efficiency, safety, dynamics, and comfort provides real-world benefits for both OEMs and consumers.
- A platform approach with highest flexibility by using cross-project synergies with maximum scalability from 40 - 350 kW, for 400 V or 800 V systems.
Product Highlight
Magna's Next Gen eDrive System
Magna's latest high-power eDrive System delivers world class attributes on efficiency, power-to-weight ratio, torque density and sustainability.
This new 800V eDrive was developed with a KPI-driven approach and can be applied as a highly efficient primary or complementary drive to battery electric vehicles from the C, D and E segments. It delivers a peak power of 250 kW and a peak axle torque of 5,000 Nm, and can include an optional eDecoupling.
